We at Windgate Animal Rescue are fighting the war against animal abuse and neglect!  We hope that you will extend your hand of generousity by donating to our cause.

Our organization is in it's infant stages. However, we have been rescuing animals for many years and have finally decided to make a full time commitment to the cause.

We are willing to commit to the time it takes to fight this cause but we need your donations. Rehabilitating, feeding, vet bills, and facilities to operate out of, so that that we may provide a safe and caring environment for the animals is all VERY expensive!

Everyones words of encouragement reasure us we have done the right thing.
We did our first Adoption set up today from 10-3pm. We met Many friendly animal lovers!!! However, we did not place any pets with new homes today. We are a little disapointed about that but we did try to spread the word as much as possible so, thats a good thing. We did manage to rescue a puppy out of the middle of the highway on the way home! Hmmm.......it's O.K. she looks like shes 1/2 chocolate Lab and ?, aprox. 12 weeks old, Really sweet!!! Well, that's what we're here for. Thanks again, Penny.

I would like to thank all of the people that had such kind words for us today at our Adoption set up at Rayford-Sawdust Rd. Even though we found no homes this time, we will be back again and again. Our little ones can come back to their safe kennels, food and water. They will have no fear as they lay their little heads down to sleep tonight. The Angels are watching over them. Sleep tight babies! and sweet dreams

Thank you EVERYONE for your donations and adoptions that took place at the Windgate Animal rescue table today!!! We had a successful day. :)

I just wanted to say thank you for Kiki and Lil Too Too. They are the best and fit right in to our family! Kiki is the run of things around here and Too Too is such a sweetheart!

Yeahhhhh!! REX found a home! I am Rex's foster mom and he finally found a very good forever home. He was adopted on January 24,2009 and is was a GREAT DAY for us all....especially good ole' Rexie!! We all miss you....
